| Fool's Hollow |
![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | Downtown (3 sub-boards) Sadly, downtown isn't too impressive. Most buildings here hardly exceed four stories, and most are small, privately owned shops. Every modern comfort that the hollow actually has to offer can be found here, but it's not much. You'd have to go out-of-town to get anything special, or have it mail-ordered, but downtown at least has enough to satisfy basic needs. However, it's also a hot spot for crime in the town, and drunk drivers are commonplace.

![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | Fool's Hollow Police Department This is usually the last place you'll ever want to be. Law-breakers and the members of the police department are the only people allowed to pass through these doors. Security has never been higher thanks to the recent attacks, and treatment of prisoners continues to drop. The force is made up of officers, animal control officers, dispatchers, an investigations division, communications manager, a record custodian, an administrative assistant and one police analyst.

![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | The Subdivisions (3 sub-boards) Most houses are held here in the subdivisions scattered around the hollow. Some have far more class than the others, and some are just unbelievably disgusting. However thesea re great places to get together with your neighbors and have a good time, just don't stay out too late, you never know what wanders the streets.

![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | Fool's Hollow Airport This modest airport doesn't boast much more than a few aircraft, a shabby terminal, and a dirt runway. It's a regional airport, so flights coming in and out from other states are not available here. There is only one commercial aircraft, and it is small, but there are several privately-owned airplanes that are used mainly in the skydiving school. Many flights come in bearing many passengers, but no one ever leaves the hollow via airplane.

![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | Public Library In spite of the small town it's located in, the public library is huge. Mountains of information is piled onto the shelves in this three-story wonder. The library is open 24 hours a day, but naturally library cards are needed to rent out any books. For information about the town's history, you don't have to look hard. There are many cassets and books relating to the construction and settlement of the town, and more recent events such as the disappearence of the orphans at Fool Hollow.

![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | Abandoned tracks Once the railroad was shut down the tracks were cemented over. The tracks themselves aren't solely on the outskirts of town, in fact at one point they cross through it. Many people come out here for morning jogs and bicycle rides, and since there isn't much else in this town is a good place for young people to walk with eachother and talk.

![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | Gift of Life Orphanage This orphanage hasn't been in use in over fifty years. The outer half of the building looks fine, in fact the place looks fairly liveable, all it needs is some new paint. Kind of strange for something over 50 years old, really... On the inside the walls are rusted and dark stains scattered across the floor. There are still drawings from children laying about the floor, and the outside of the building is decorated with painted handprints by the children, and various other art from the children who used to live here. Few people go near this place, and even fewer enter.

![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | Nature Path The pathway that the children used on their nature hikes has mysteriously gone missing. There's no records of its location, and people don't seem to remember where it was. Now they have a new trail, which cuts the long way through the forest for some spectatular sight-seeing on the moutain face, not to mention that at the path's end lies the massive Fool's Hollow Lake.

![[ ]](http://i1.tinypic.com/mlrzbl.jpg) | Fool's Hollow Lake The lake sitting off of the hollow is oddly huge, and even more odd because it's completely natural. Blue heron and geese reside here, and endless species of fish are free to fishermen. Only low-horsepower boats are allowed out on the lake, and the preferred method of travel is by kayaks or canoes.
